The Haunted Onion AT CHRISTMAS

Bob let out a shivering sigh, as he retrieved the bag of Christmas Tree Chocolates from the deep depths of his fridge. Bob smiled gently as he hung up the little round Christmas Tree Chocolates, adding a particularly large one with a purple wrapper to the top next to his vibrantly glistening star.

The next day, Bob looked at the unusually large chocolate and reached out to it when no one was looking. As he peeled of the wrapper, a strange sight met his eyes — an onion with big boiling red eyes stared at Bob. Bob hesitated because he knew the only way to silence the haunted onion was to… He gulped, ‘it was a tasty onion’ Bob thought as the onion’s beady crimson eyes spiralled down Bob’s throat. It was a very tasty Haunted Christmas Onion. Bob grinned and scrunched up the lifeless wrapper, the Haunted Onion had been silenced.

The Haunted Onion AT CHRISTMAS

Once upon a time a little Onion sat in the cold, dark vegetable isle of Tescos, Little Bobblingham, staring avidly at the twinkling Christmas light lining the crates opposite. The little Onion remembered Steve the Potato and Jarod the carrot being taken a away the previous evening, to be cooked and eaten on Christmas day. It had looked horrible, the little Onion certainly didn’t want that to happen to him. The following morning, Christmas eve to be precise, a tall old lady stopped beside the Onion crate and began to examine the onions. Despite trying to hide, the little onion was plucked from his home. Closing his eyes, he waited to be thrown in the trolly, but instead heard an angry voice. “Disgusting, they shouldn’t allow such misshapen specimens to be sold.” With a sigh, the little onion dropped back into the crate, he had survived.
